Medical Device Testing and Validation

The fourth Stage of MediPurpose™ product innovation involves medical device testing and validation.

Based upon the medical device prototype development that took place in Stage 3, industrial designs are developed, with low-cost models created for detailed design concept testing. With the design established, functional prototypes are developed for design verification testing as well as design validation testing.

Simultaneously, the cross-functional project team is updating the product business case as more complete financial and market information becomes available.

As this Stage moves forward, the manufacturing, operations and supplier plans are completed. The new medical product market launch, sales, packaging and labeling plans are also finalized.
