Derek Rudnak Named MediPurpose Director of Marketing

LOS ANGELES and ATLANTA, June 8—MediPurpose®, a master distributor and manufacturer of medical products, today announced Derek Rudnak as director of marketing.

The new title reflects Rudnak’s expanding responsibilities with the medical product company, which include planning and executing marketing strategies that promote awareness of the company’s products and services.

Since October 2009, Rudnak has worked closely with MediPurpose founder and CEO Patrick Yi to advance the marketing department’s objective of promoting MediPurpose’s innovative and quality healthcare solutions that are valued by its customers and partners.

Rudnak previously was MediPurpose’s director of communication, and before that, its inbound marketing and communication specialist.

In addition to his consulting work, Rudnak has held positions as the director of marketing communications at the San Mateo County (California) Medical Center, SEO/PPC consultant at NexTag, and San Francisco bureau editor at PR Newswire.

Rudnak has brought a diverse range of skills and experience to MediPurpose. Rudnak’s career in journalism, public relations and Internet marketing and communications has enabled him to integrate traditional offline marketing practices with cutting-edge opportunities in online media.
