One-Step PLUS Marketed to Puerto Rico, Haiti and Dominican Republic

NORCROSS, Ga., Feb. 7—SurgiLance, Inc., the Atlanta-based sales, marketing and distribution subsidiary of SurgiLance Private Ltd, Singapore, has announced the expansion of its medical product distribution channels into Puerto Rico, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. This expansion represents a strong first foothold for the One-Step PLUS safety lancet in the Latin American and Caribbean markets.

 

SurgiLance One-Step Safety LancetsThe response to One-Step PLUS within these markets has been very positive, indicating the broad appeal of the product. SurgiLance Marketing Manager April Kellar is very encouraged by the growing level of interest in the One-Step PLUS.

"SurgiLance is encountering an exciting new level of interest in our product in the Latin American and Caribbean markets," said Kellar. "We look forward to that enthusiasm spreading quickly into other parts of the region."

The flow of new business into Latin America and the Caribbean is the latest stride in SurgiLance's development of a global market for the One-Step PLUS. Negotiations with other distributors are ongoing, and this rapid growth is anticipated to continue into other parts of the Americas during 2005.
