NASHVILLE, Tenn., and NORCROSS, Ga., Nov. 26—SurgiLance, Inc. announced an agreement with National Distributing & Contracting, Inc. (NDC), the nation's largest organization of independent medical surgical and dental supply distributors.

Developed in Singapore and distributed throughout the world, the One-Step Safety Lancet has quickly gained the favor of clinicians. The unique pre-armed capability provides ease of use, quick activation and minimizes patient distress.

"We selected the SurgiLance One-Step Lancet product line because it not only met the criteria but also provides the safety requirements necessary for healthcare workers and patients."

SurgiLance designs, manufactures and sells safety medical devices. The SurgiLance One-Step Safety Lancet is the first product to be launched by the company.

Operations in the United States have grown quickly this year, with a full complement of both med-surg and lab distributors. Studies put the current U.S. market for safety lancets in excess of $60 million. This is expected to more than triple within the next few years as healthcare facilities convert from conventional to safety lancets.
